Matetic, EQ Coastal Sauvignon Blanc 2021

EQ (code for "balance") Coastal Sauvignon Blanc 2021 is taken from Matetic's Valle Hermonso vineyard, just 13km from the Pacific Ocean. The cooling factors of the maritime climate elongates the growing season and not only makes for well-rounded fruit, but also a natural salinty due to the proximity to the sea. Bright, vibrant and moreish, it bursts with notes of citrus, grapefruit, gooseberry and melon. The palate is expressive with a real linear, minerally-salty lick of acidity carrying the fruity finish. The perfect wine with shellfish.
